We had to cut our guest list almost in half due to the restrictions the church has for the ceremony (100 limit) but we were able to invite more to the reception (150 limit)

I had to cut my guest list significantly and my venue is not allowing any dancing except for first dance and parent dances. The majority of my guest are in-state.

We postponed our big wedding and having a small ceremony with 14 guests. The ceremony will be on a secluded beach and dinner will be held in a large backyard where family units will be sat at their own table. We are not requiring masks as we will be in large, open spaces for the ceremony and for dinner. We WILL require masks when going to and from the buffet table.

November 14th! We postponed our reception but are having our ceremony. We are having it professionally livestreamed, so guests can attend in person or virtually. Masks are required by the church and they have a seating chart that distances people. We aren't allowed to have our wedding party walk down the aisle or anything, so some we had to do without some elements of our ceremony that we had planned. but we are moving forward and very excited!

A little nervous of getting everything planned. I booked my date last month for November 29th, 2020. I’ll be having 40 guest and I think it’s perfect. I’ll get to splurge more on them since it’s so small and intimate. I won’t have my guests wear masks but I am checking on my bridesmaids and guests when we have gatherings. For example my bridal shower, trip for my bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, and of course the wedding. I’m more excited to see everyone in one place that I love and care about in my life.

Moved the wedding and reception my brother's ranch so they will both be outside with the reception in his huge pole barn. We will have hand sanitizer at every table and we are getting a trailer porta potty with running water and electricity so guest can flush and wash hands. We still have 90 guests coming but that's 50 less than we would've had. So we actually saved money on rentals and the caterer. We are not requiring masks, if they want to wear one that's up to them.

My wedding is November 14th, planing for about 100 guest and that’s less than 25% of the halls original capacity which is in accordance with NJ law. We are planing to provide masks and lots of sanitizers for the guests lol..
I keep checking the news daily to monitor the trend of covid cases in NJ, just can wait for that day 😊😊😊

We moved our May 2021 wedding up to November 2020 and cut our guest list by 90%. Instead of the 250 people we had planned, we'll have 35 people - immediate family and wedding party only. We will be requiring masks - our venue requires them anyway, along with social distancing as much as possible. We'll be providing matching face masks for the wedding party.

I am so glad that I am not the only one who can't wait for the wedding day (11/7) to just be here already! We downsized from 175 to 55 and are just ready to have the best day/night we can! We will have masks available for everyone and the venue has asked that people wear them when they are moving around and getting drinks, which we are fine with. Honestly, just can't wait to be married and have the stress of planning come to an end!

    Danica,

Superstition Springs Golf Club, they are incredible. Helped us when we had to postpone the first time. The on-site events Coordinator and I have actually become beasties. Their pkgs are incredible. When they say all inclusive they mean it. It includes Bridal party gifts, 2 photographers, Toni stays with the Bride the entire day, master of ceremonies/DJ, wedding cake from Robert's Cakes before the pandemic there was a waiting list for their cakes. A round of golf for the guys, plus much more!

I am still planning to have my wedding in Minnesota on 11/14/20. We originally invited 123 but ended up with around 60. I am still waiting for some rsvps, which were due today. We are having masks available as well as hand sanitizer. The venue is large with space to social distance. Congrats to all November brides!

    Very cool!

We're getting married at a 1920's house, Chapel at the Farm. My girl friend owns it and has a great price for what we want. Our reception is at Olive & Ivy in Scottsdale....we're doing a brunch reception.

    Hello!

I'm from NJ, and a 'real wedding' wasn't something we'd originally planned on. We actually were planning a destination wedding in Norway (12/13), and when we had to cancel we were just going to do a civil ceremony at the courthouse. Now, after lots of thought, we're having a small wedding here. It's just immediate/close family and a handful of friends.
The venue room we have can seat up to 150, but we're only doing 50 people. That helps when it comes to distancing. The venue installed HEPA filters, and leaves the fans on and opens a back door to ensure air circulation is at its highest. We will be providing masks, and ask that guests wear them during the ceremony. Guests can wear masks if they like or not during cocktail hour and the reception, it's at their discretion. Since it's all close family, and we know we've all been strict with our precautions, we're not overly concerned with distancing. None of us ever really leave the house. There will be hand sanitizer provided by the venue as well. Venue staff, we're told, wash their hands constantly and always have masks and gloves on. The chef was apparently ocd about cleanliness prior to quarantine, and now he's even more so. He preps during the week by himself to reduce risks. We also just found out we're the only event booked that day, which is also a big plus.
For party favors we obviously did the mini hand sanitizers, and we're also doing chocolate covered bride and groom pretzel rods. As a kind of gag gift, we're also doing a roll of toilet paper with a Game of Thrones inspired quote attached. "What do we say to coronavirus? Not today."
We were expecting to run into a lot of hiccups, as this whole thing has been planned within 3 months of the day we picked. We literally started planning a November wedding at the end of August. We're 30 days out from the wedding day now (11/14). Surprisingly, everything is falling smoothly in to place. Got a great price at the venue, making our own centerpieces, all the little details--it's all lining up perfectly. I keep waiting for something bad to happen, and just keep hoping it doesn't. But I've got high hopes that everything will be okay. I even got permission from the state of NY for my dad to fly up from Florida. His mother, my grandmother, is very ill and can't leave the house. So after the wedding he's going to go visit her, and then fly right home. Without the letter, he'd have been stuck here for 2 weeks to quarantine. He's high risk himself, and has been extremely careful whenever he has to leave the house.
So yeah. That's our journey so far. It's been a whirlwind and my mind is shot haha

I’m getting married in Orlando, FL on 11/7! The church is allowing up to 300 guests, masks required. We have 115 guests and before the reception, everyone will have their temperature taken as well as be asked to sign a waiver acknowledging risk involved. Our venue is the Orlando Science Center, so they have a lot of great guidelines in place! Masks are required during the reception as well. I am making the whole bridal party get tested the week before too!

November 7th here!! We are stressed and super nervous for the big day. We kept our original day and didn't cut the guest list since it was already going to be a smaller wedding. We have about 65 people coming, the ceremony is outdoors and reception inside. We are lucky that our reception space is big enough for social distancing even when indoors and has multiple levels for people to go wherever they would like.

11/14 wedding and we were originally going to have about 125 guests, but now we’re capping out at 50. We’re hoping the fickle Virginia weather will cooperate enough for our ceremony to be outdoors, or indoors with windows/doors open to keep airflow going. We will also be requiring masks whenever people are moving about the venue, but we’re taking it more as a challenge to find cute or fancy masks to wear! The way I’ve come to see it is that the candid pictures with people wearing masks will an interesting story for future generations. Also, hand sanitizer favors!
