Not wearing a white dress!

Hi Sarah.
I'm wearing a (relatively) dark grey dress and I'm not wearing anything special that will make me feel more of a bride. To feel more 'bridal', you could wear a veil,tiara, or crown of flowers + a train or a cape.
I'm skipping all of this stuff as well as earings, necklace and wrist/bracelet since I never wear jewelry, my make up will be minimalist & will look 'natural' (I will make up myself) and I'm wearing flat shoes. It doesn't mean I'm a tomboy or not feminine at all LOL.

I'm 100% sure I will not feel like 'non-bridal'without any of this stuff. Whatever you decide, you'll feel bridal if you allow yourself to feel that way, regardless of what you are or aren't wearing.

I am wearing a white dress, however, where I came from (Taiwan) the wedding dresses come in all different colors. Kind of like an evening gown.

It's really common, and it doesn't look out of place to have a non-white dress. Here are some pictures of the gowns people wear (Google searched images)

I love the idea of not wearing white! i feel like that makes it even more unique.

Hi Sarah! Congratulations! I am not wearing a white dress either. I had never seen myself in a white dress, so when I found my champagne/rose lace dress it just felt right for me! I have also been struggling with this idea of feeling like a bride-- but I think no matter what, you will feel like a bride the second you see all of your loved ones looking up at you as you walk down the aisle to your partner. Nothing can take that moment from you, not even a non-white dress! Wishing you the best!
