Not Sure Where To Put The Veil

Hey Guys!

So I am getting married in November 2020 and I am just starting to plan things. One of the things I know for sure is how I want to do my hair. I am a big fan of the viking/edgy/Lagertha look and I am planning to do a half-up pull through mowhawk braid (example pic included). I have not yet been to a hair dresser to try it out yet, but that is being planned. My question is....I don't really know where I should be placing the veil. I was thinking like a clip underneath the braid itself and then the veil would hang down with the rest of my hair. My hair, btw, is almost to my butt, so length definitely isn't an issue.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or photos of similar styles they have tried?

    You could see if the can engineer a spot under the braid right where the pulled back section stops so it looks like the veil is flowing from underneath

    I absolutely love that hair!! Please post pics when you get it done. I agree the veil placed at the back of your head where the pulled back hair is would make the best sense.

    First, I LOVE Lagertha and this is going to look so fierce. I do think you could clip a veil just under the braid and have it fall with the rest of your hair as you said. That shouldn't be a problem at all but definitely try it out a few times before the big day to see if you need additional help to keep it in place.

    Love this look! I think you can even clip a veil in the middle of the braid like if you had one of those comb style clips. Either way when you do your trail they can test different areas for you to try. Very pretty Smiley smile
