Just Said Yes April 2018

Not nervous/excited?

Leah, on April 4, 2018 at 8:50 AM Posted in Planning 0 9
Hey ladies! My wedding is the day after tomorrow and whenever someone asks me if I'm excited, I feel like I'm lying to them when I say yes. Now, don't get me wrong...I'm not having cold feet or doubts or anything like that, but it feels more like I just want to be done with all things wedding? Or maybe it doesn't feel real yet. I can't really describe it, but I thought I would be more like a kid on Christmas this week. Has anyone else felt this way about their wedding?

You will be excited the day of. I'm kind of the same way. I have about 5 months to go, but I'm way more stressed than excited at the moment. Once the day gets here you'll be psyched! Congrats!

I feel the same way. I have a little Less than 2 months to go. I think the day of it will really hit me that it’s hapoening. I’ve been so caught up in planning and logistics it doesn’t seem like it’s so close

I’m not quite as close as that but I think truthfully there is just sooooo much planning! So much so that it almost feels surreal to have it be over. No worries, I bet your wedding day will be great regardless if your “not too excited” in the days leading to

I just want my wedding to be over. I want to be on the cruise ship sipping island drinks with my husband and done with wedding planning. I would rather finish the ceremony, skip the reception, and head over to a movie theater to watch Avengers: Infinity War than deal with anymore wedding crap.

Yes!!!!!!! I just want to be on the cruise ship with a drink in my hand and my hubby by my side! But I also want to party at the reception. All this planning is so unnecessarily stressful.

I felt the same way the day before too. More anxious than excited. A years worth of planning and stress and all I wanted was for it to be over! But once the actual day started it just became a whirlwind! Everything went by so fast but at the same time it was such an amazing day. Marrying the love of my life, seeing all our family and friends, seeing everything come together beautifully. It was awesome and I won't lie... I felt a little sad the week after it was over. Going from this stressful but exciting high and then back to normal life was a little hard. Anyway, it's totally okay to not feel like a kid at Xmas. You'll feel different the day of Smiley smile

Yes, I felt the same way. I wasn't excited, or nervous, and when I was asked if I was either of those I was truthful, and said no. The morning of my wedding I was like blissed out; complete contentment.

If anything, I'm a little grumpy. Between last minute details to take care of, hosting several people at our home, making time to see guests who came in from out of town I am exhausted. Too exhausted to be excited. I'm sure Friday night I'll be a bundle of nerves and excitement though!

The week before was the worst.. I was just so so done. By the rehearsal and dinner, once everything was at the venue and out of my hands/control, my mentality completely changed and I was so pumped. It didn’t feel real but it was also like a whirlwind! Your feelings are totally normal Smiley smile
