Not excited for my dress anymore.... has anyone else felt that

I haven’t shown my fiancé my dress but the consultant picked my dress that I fell in love with. I was curious and looked it up online. What was funny was that I do not like my dress online 🤣 I’m like wow this is a dress I’d typically scroll right by, but when I’m wearing it I LOVEEEEE IT. Your fiancé seeing it in a picture is different than having you wear it. When he sees you wearing the dress he will see how stunning you look. You picked a dress that you feel beautiful and confident in.

I put the order in for my dress last month since then I go through this at least once a week and wonder will I still like my dress? Did I pick the right one? Should I have gone with dress A, B, or C instead?

But when I start talking about my dress and seeing pictures of it again, I remember I do love it and I'm excited about it. But I'm sure I'll continue to feel like that and question my decision.

Once you get your dress you can try it again and see if you still love it. Otherwise you can always sell it and get another one.

I actually did this too and my FH said “eh” when I showed him my dress. he doesn’t know which one is actually the one I am wearing because I showed him several. I didn’t let it change my mind because I feel amazing in my dress and I know it’s beautiful. I think you shouldn’t let what he said get to you. if you hadn’t told him, he probably wouldn’t even know you had shown him a photo before coming down the aisle. men just don’t notice these kinds of things and don’t pay attention enough. Also, showing photos of some girl in a dress is different than HIS bride walking down in person

I agree with the previous posts - it’s going to be 💯 different when he sees you in it. The salesperson actually picked my dress out, and when she first showed it to me. I was like “ew not my style but I’ll try it on to be polite” and then i fell in love with it 😂 it is a gorgeous dress, and he will think you’re gorgeous in it

The gown is lovely. However in the photo he saw. It’s on a boring girl. No veil, no curves. No blissful smile. No you.
Try it on when it comes in. Have some makeup on and throw on some accessories. Then see the difference.
Decide if you feel beautiful. It’s about you shining in the dress.

I feel you on this! I also felt anxious about putting on my dress after I bought it - 8 months passed between buying it and the first fitting, and the more I looked at my original photos, I started to worry I chose the wrong fit/cut for me..BUT I just put it on for a second fitting this weekend with my shoes and veil (I got all dolled up for the fitting even though it was just and me seamstress ) and I felt like I did on that first day that THAT was the perfect dress that made me feel like a bride! I hope you have a similar experience and with a couple of try ons all of that original love for it comes back! As others said..your man will NOT remember what he did/didnt like while browsing, and he is absolutely going to love you in any dress you wear that day

I just wish we would of went to court house and did it.
We are getting married in Florida our kids will be there whio are 15 and up. I wanted a day or 2 him and i. He said now after agreeing to it we just do a get away another time. He has family there that said we will take the kids for 1 or 2 days but now that changed. I suppose im just not happy and everything seems less and less like a wedding or our day. I wasn't gonna even get the dress altered just leave it how it is. The altering wont really change things i dont think but i dobt know
