Not all white wedding dresses, show me!

Anyone else go with something like this? Even a different silhouette, I mean color wise. Did you find your gown was a little lighter in color than the sample?

SHOW ME!

ETA: spelling

Second edit: by white I meant ivory. The overlay is ivory and the alternative would have been ivory on ivory. I was told bright white is hard to come by anymore.

Third edit: what color is your FH wearing? I was originally going to do nude/taupe but now I'm not sure.

ETA: removed my pic, sometimes my BP browses on here.

Mine is a "sand" undertone! I was hesitant about it at first but i fell in love! I always envisioned myself in white, and I could have ordered my dress in white, but I felt like it was going to hide the beautiful lace on my dress! My FH is wearing a dark gray

My dress is blush. A very understated blush that you only notice in the right lighting, but it's blush Smiley smile

My dress is ivory over "oyster" which is kind of a nude color. I had the option of ivory over ivory but my dress has two lace layers and the ivory really made the under layer pop.

OP, your gown is stunning, absolutely stunning. I love gowns that feature nude/biege/blush colors under the lace. I think they're gorgeous and totally bridal.

And Jessica, I just fell in love with your gown...again. If it were any other color, it would turns heads on the red carpet, but with the white lace overlay...you're a bride. I think it's beyond stunning. My favorite element is the juxtaposition of the the more conservative sleeves and the plunging neckline -- a feature that incorporates your skin as part of the design. It really works.

Eisha, you, dear lady, are a risk taker. When you plunged into pink, you dove into the deep end. I think your gown is really pretty, and I think it compliments your skin tone -- plus, there's no mistaking that's it's a bridal gown. Just curious...what are you adding to it, if anything, in terms of a veil/headpiece/or gemmed hair clip?

A friend of mine had a blush pink dress. It was the most unique dress I've ever seen. Her bridal party wore white. It was very cool.

My dress is "almond" pretty much ivory

I think it's beautiful and it does show off the lace more. My dress was WAY lighter than the sample. But then it is draped linen so the sample has really been worn down.

ETA: sample on top, my dress on bottom

With the nude under ivory it calls attention to the beautiful patterns of the lace.
