So my fiance has a sister on his dad's side (same dad, different mom) and my FSIL (who is one of my bridesmaids) asked me today if it was okay if her mom wore a full length plum coloured dress in our wedding (our wedding colours are eggplant purple, white and silver). She said her mom was worried that the colours would clash too much with ours, as the bridesmaids are all wearing full length eggplant purple dresses. I have absolutely nothing against her mom. I love her mom. Her mom isn't considered... I mean it's kind of weird. Obviously my FH's dad and mom, and my dad and mom are considered apart of the wedding party. I never considered her mom as part of the wedding party at all. So it should be fine, right? She can just go ahead and wear plum? The colours are similar but there is a distinction between them. I just feel like people would assume she is apart of the wedding party somehow. Not a big deal, right?
