Nose piercing

Kelsey, on August 6, 2019 at 8:42 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12

17 days to go and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my nose piercing. For a year now I've had a small, simple silver hoop in my nose. This past weekend I had a faux diamond stud put in because I thought that studs would match my dress better. But now that I have the stud in, I'm not so wild about it, and I'm not sure that I want to keep it in for my wedding. Here's a pic of my dress (this pic isn't me I just pulled it from the website I ordered it from). What do y'all think I should do/what did you do on your day if you have a nose piercing?

Love the dress! I don’t have a nose piercing but if I did, I’d probably wear the same one as always. It’s part of your normal look and you like it, so why change it?
Do what makes you feel you.🧡

Thanks! That's a good point and probably why I feel weird without my hoop in since I've had it in for over a year at this point.

I have my nose pierced and I’m keeping in the hoop. I don’t feel like I would want to change it or take it out on my wedding. It’s part of me. It would be weird not to have it there.

Wow that’s awesome. It has the same type of style as mine. But yours is prettier.

I think it's just personal preference. I have a nose piercing that I wear a small "diamond" stud in every day. I will be taking it out for the wedding, though. I know that I, likely, won't keep jewelry in my piercing forever and I want my wedding photos to look timeless... well as timeless as possible. I think your piercing would look great with your dress though!

I have my nose pierced also. It's been pierced for almost 20 years. I am opting to take mine out for the big day. Just my personal preference.

Hey Kelsey! I used to have my nose pierced and I LOVED my simple silver hoop! I think they are so pretty!

You should definitely do what feels most natural for you. If you are used to having a hoop and feel happy and confident with it in, then I say go for it!

I've been thinking about getting my nose redone lately, you may have inspired me! 🙈

I took out my nose ring a few weeks before our engagement photos. I wasn't sure that I wanted my 20s facial piercing memorialized forever. I may or may not get my nose pierced ahain after the wedding, but I'm very confident in my decision for now.
