Nose piercing.

EmilyJ, on January 18, 2016 at 9:11 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 21

I need honesty here, my family and friends just say "it's your day, you do what you want." I've had my nose pierced for about 7 years now, and I just wear a little stud. Tacky for a wedding? I've had it so long that I don't see myself regretting it, but I just don't know, I don't want to be a not classy bride!

I don't think it's tacky if its okay of who you are. I never expect someone who had one to take it out for one day. But it's an easy decision to make last minute. I wouldn't sweat it

Following! I have had a small diamond nose stud for the last 8 years, and I'm debating on wearing it for my wedding. I wore in for engagement pictures (non- high resolution pic attached) and didn't notice it at all, so I'm leaning towards wearing it because it's become a part of me.

If you're worried about it take it out. Personally though I don't see anything wrong with it. It's something that you've had for so long and people have already seen. I don't think people will all the sudden think it's trashy just because it's at your wedding. ETA: I understand. I have a lot of piercings on my ears that I'm debating about wearing jewelry in or not.

There's nothing "not classy" about piercings or tattoos or body mods. They are artwork. Your body is a temple. Your mods are the decorations. Wear them loud and proud!

Not tacky. If you have had it that long, it is a part of who you are. Everyone you know, knows you have it and is used to seeing you wear it.

I don't see them as tacky at all. If you want to wear it, wear it.

I wore mine and it was fine. No different than an earring.

I think the little studs are adorable and wouldn't hesitate to leave it in. Ultimately it's up to you though.

I don't think it's tacky at all. I myself have piercings and tattoos and I have no plans to deliberately hide them on my wedding day. A friend of mine has had a vertical labret (lip piercing) for years and she wore it on her wedding day because it's "her". Do what you're comfortable with and what makes you happy, because those feelings are what will show on your wedding day.

I have my nose pierced and because of my profession, 99% of the time I wear a clear nose ring so it doesn't close up. I am definitely busting out a little nose jewelry for my wedding day, and am excited it's one day I can wear it!

I was just wondering the same thing! I think I'm going to leave mine in. I have a tiny stud and it's hard to take out because of the style I have. People hardly notice it and you can't tell in pictures unless you look super close.

    I would. I think they're beautiful although I don't have one myself.

I'm leaving my nose stud in. I also have 11 ear piercings that include my industrial piercing and rook piercing. I'm going to leave all them in as well. They're part of me and I love them Smiley smile and I would feel weird without them because I never take them out for more than just to put new jewelry in.

If it's 'you', I would leave it in. It's not like you're going out and getting a piercing for your wedding.

My MOH caught me off guard when she told me she wanted to cover up her arm tattoo....I have quite a few visable (some pretty big) tattoos. I never even thought about it until she mentioned it. I do agree with the ladies here though. It's part of who we are. I don't think I'm going to cover them.

Not tacky. I've had my nose pierced over 10 years and have absolutely no intention on taking it out NOT even for my wedding.

If you don't automatically think, "Of course, I'll wear it!" then maybe you'll be more comfortable not wearing it.

Mrs S actually reminded me of my MOH - she's very tattooed and I love each bit of her ink! I'm going to let her choose her own dress as long as it's 1) not lace, 2) lilac to fit my colors, and 3) knee length or thereabouts to show off her awesome leg tats. She's proud of her tattoos and I'm proud that she's my best friend.

I have mine too and wear a little stud. I plan on wearing mine. It's apart of who I am. And FH fell inlove with me the way I am. That nose ring is included in who/way I am! Why change something that's you? It's your wedding, you can do whatever you want!
