North Jersey Bridal Shower Locations

Gabrielle, on March 10, 2017 at 8:29 PM Posted in Planning 2 17

Hi ladies,

Have you been to any great bridal showers in North Jersey? We have about 35 guests. The bride wants brunch, Italian or standard American fare. We're hoping to keep it under $35/pp. Preferably in Essex, Passaic, Bergen or Hudson counties. I've scoured the Internet and made a ton of calls, but haven't been able to find somewhere that fits all criteria above and has availability when we need it.

Thank you!

Following. I'm from North Jersey and also interested in this for myself. My aunt is hosting my shower, but she wanted to have it in her backyard. However, it will most likely be too cold for the shower to be outdoors so we'll need to find somewhere else.

I've been to a shower at Della cucina in Hilsdale. The food there is so good! Seriously, everyone was raving about the food after the shower and the party room was perfect for the size. I believe it was BYOB so the bridesmaids brought in wine and champagne for mimosas.

Under 35 might be pushing it but possible at a byo? Personally I think if you raise your pp you will open yourself to way more options and much better food

Biagios in Paramus, Bacari grill Washington township, 14 and hudson in piermont... cornerstone in hillsdale is inexpensive but I didn't love the ambiance. We are doing mine at biagios (not having a surprise shower) in the fire place room, prices are very reasonable.

What places have you already tried? My suggestions would be Biagio's in Paramus, Sanducci's in River Edge, Aldo's or Brick House in Wyckoff, Ho Ho Kus Inn, or Cake Lounge in Little Ferry.

Bella Napoli in Bloomfield is a really nice place. It's an Italian restaurant and they have private rooms. The bridesmaids and I hosted my friends shower there last May and it was great! Great service, great food, and perfect size room for 35 people.

If you are willing to go to Morris county I suggest contacting tabor road tavern and grato in Morris plains . Both owned by same group as roots steakhouse and both offer luncheon menu that leaves you wiggle room for upgrades I'll attach the menus in next comments

@snowangel brick house is great but she doesn't want to pay more than 35 a head . I doubt that's happening there

I just had mine at the Halifax in Hoboken, it was amazing. I believe it was $35/person for brunch and champagne

If you're tired of the restaurant/bar scene and looking for a completely unique event space and also BYO, check out Hoboken's Barsky Art Gallery at www.hobokenvenue.com
