Non-Traditional Violin Suggestions??

My fiance and I are having a small wedding on the beach in the OBX. We have a violinist who will most likely be our choice for music during the short ceremony. Any suggestions for NON-traditional/contemporary pieces that would be OK for a violin on the beach? We have some ideas but not sure they'd sound right on a violin????

My cousin played the violin for our ceremony (her husband also played guitar) And we had them play Flightless Bird American Mouth by Iron and Wine (for the parents and bridal party) Then Love you till the end by The Pogues (for my entrance) and it sounded great! I just went on YouTube and searched for 'violin version' or 'violin solo' of songs I thought would sound good, just to get an idea of what I liked and didn't like.

Yeah, I'm not actually getting married, I just made an account because I saw this post. I REALLY need to ask you, @FMS, The barefoot wife!, where did you guys find the sheet music for Flightless Bird, American Mouth? I need it. ):
