Non-traditional Father/daughter Dance Song Suggestions

My dad and I are doing Don't worry be happy. Maybe he has a song in mind, ask him to pick one out. That's what I did.

I also don't have a very strong relationship with my father, but we are dancing to a song he wrote for me when I was born that he plays on the piano. He recorded himself playing it and we will dance to it- it has no words or anything. I agree with PP maybe ask him if he had any ideas!

I hear 90s grunge and immediately my mind goes to "Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town" or "Amongst the Waves" from Pearl Jam

My dad and I are going to dance to "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)" by the Four Tops. It'll be a faster and more fun dance, and it's a special song to us.

Following- as I don’t want the normal songs they give for Father/Daughter. We aren’t close- sooooo, not really wanting to have him do the give me away and dance,,But it’s expceted and so I will be.
