Non-traditional Bridesmaid Bouquets

There are lots of options: wrist corsages, wreaths, or something non-floral like a lantern or even books that are important to you and your fiancé.

She could have each bridesmaid carry a single rose (or other flower)?

They could carry a handbag (there's a bride here having all her ladies and herself do this!) or what about a sentimental, nicely bound book?

I'm imagining something like this beautifully bound copy of Pride and Prejudice:

I have seen people carry balloons, umbrellas, or even fans!

We did hoops! They were easy to carry, particularly for my maid of honor during the ceremony while she held my bouquet as well as her hoop. For the dinner/reception, we actually picked up some cheap plain stocking holders at Christmas time the year before and hung them off our head table.

The first one gave me the idea, flowers but not flowers. The last one is the one I'm using, the cream colored one with the flower.

What about these?

Something that’s becoming a trend is dried flowers too which might be nice for October!


Another idea might be each bridesmaid has a different bouquet of sheet music of the couples favorite songs with flowers too.
Or even have bridesmaids carry wicker baskets with petals to cover the aisle with as they’re walking towards the altar too.

Love the ideas and photos of the hoops! I also think the clutches are really cute, and can be re-used.
