Non-Sappy Father Daughter dance songs

What song are you using that's not super sappy? I refuse to sway back and forth with my dad for 2-3 minutes to some horrible country song about daddies and their daughters, or anything with the word "butterfly" in it. What song are you using?

I was thinking about In My Life by The Beatles too, but today I listened to Sleepwalk by Santo and Johnny and thought that would be a great one too. Who knows what I'll pick before the actual day? haha

This was a hard one for us. Most songs make you sound like lovers lol. We decided on what a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong. We are doing father daughter and mother son dances at the same time.

@Steph I love that you mentioned that; it's the ringone that my dad and I use on our phones for eachother, probably what we'll dance to as well!

We are not big dancers either. But as a kid, my Dad listened to John Denver a lot, otherwise it was classical music. I remember standing on his feet as he danced me around the room. So I am taking it as a few quiet moments with my Dad, and forgetting about everyone else in the room.

This is an old thread now, but I have to say, it made me sad to see so many ladies saying they were dreading their father-daughter dance...because that's totally a real feeling and I wish I could have hugged you and said, "THEN DON'T DO IT!!" It's your wedding, and you can dance with your mom/brother/MOH/ring bearer/no one if you want to!!
