Non Responsive Vendor

I have a vendor who I have already paid IN FULL for services for my wedding. That might have been my first mistake, but compared to some of the other costs, this one was minute and easier to just pay off the bat. Said vendor was very responsive initially - when she wanted my business - but now, all I hear are crickets. I have sent her multiple emails, texts, messages on Facebook, and have had ZERO response. Not only do I feel that this is extremely unprofessional, it makes me absolutely panicked that she isn't going to follow through with items for my wedding. I'm three months out, never signed a contract with her, but received proposal and confirmed invoice that everything was paid. Any recommendations on how to proceed if she continues not to respond?

When in February and when in March? Are we talking late February and early March? Or early February and early/mid/late March? Still need more details about that. BUT if you've reached out to her in March and you STILL (in June) have not gotten a response, that is crap. There is no excuse for setting aside a few minutes to respond and at least acknowledge that you contacted her.

All you can do now since you paid and I assume you're sticking with her is be clear in your communication with what you expect from her. Say something like "Hi. I know you're busy with wedding season in full swing, but I contacted you on X and haven't heard from you (it's been X weeks/months). Could you please respond to me within X days/weeks when I send you an inquiry? I realize I'm not your only client, but I am still a paying client (who paid in full) who has a wedding in 6 months. If you won't be able to respond in that timeframe, please let me know what reasonable timeframe I will hear from you, so I can keep my expectations in check. Thank you for your understanding!" Clear communication - on both sides - is important.

Maybe you can have a family member or friend pay her a visit to find out why she hasn't replied. Maybe something has happened...

@MarriedinMay.... Something happened 4 months ago, but she's posting all over Facebook? I don't think so.

@Wendy C, I agree with you completely. I had the same situation with our limo company. I requested a refund from them. Whether it's wedding season or prom season, whether your wedding is 2 weeks or 2 years out, you don't ignore a customer. Especially a customer that has paid you. That's not professional and I would definitely worry about their performance on the day of.
