Non girly bridesmaid gifts

Allie, on April 1, 2018 at 10:11 PM Posted in Planning 0 11
So I have my maid of honor and 2 bridesmaids, none of my girls are "girly" at all... I want to do something unique ( I've seen all the floral robes, jewelry box's ect and that's not them at all) anyone have suggestions? I'm truly stumped !

If they are not "girly" what are their interests? Bridesmaid gifts are no different than any other gift. They should be chosen for the individual's taste/interests/hobbies. You don't have to buy them all the same thing. In fact, it is more thoughtful if you don;t.

Go off their interests. I was recently a MOH and the bride gifted me a set of Avengers themed Pint glasses. It fit me perfectly and I use them all the time.

Not necessarily my bridesmaids gifts but to ask them to be in the wedding I got them tumblers that had their names, title, and the date of the wedding. Something like that would be nice and practical plus you could fill it with other small things they like

Avoid personalizing anything. Nobody wants to walk around with "Muriel, Bridesmaid and the date of someone else's wedding."

Neither are my girls. They asked for knives! So I got them knives and I bought custom plushies off Etsy. I love that I didn't have to try to pick something girly because I'm such a tomboy myself.

My girls aren’t girly at all. I did get them each a different piece of jewelry because I know hey will wear t. I am getting them each a 3-month subscription to a monthly box for their interests (one wine, one fishing, and one fitness). I also got them each an insulated beverage container (one yeti, one swell, one wine glass).

For each of them, one of their gifts is going to be something personal that reflects their personalities. I got my cousin some stuff for hiking. My other cousin got a horse suncatcher.

I'm probably getting my sister a bottle of Hennessey. She doesn't have room in her life for things she can't use and that's her drink. I'll probably get her a nice tote and a white button down (monogrammed, not labeled "bridesmaid") and we aren't doing getting ready pictures but those are for fun while the bottle will be the thank you.
I'm also going to loan her some silver earrings since she only wears gold. I feel like it would be wasteful to buy/ask her to buy something she'll never wear again.

I'm looking into something dog- related for my BM that volunteers with an animal rescue, photography-related for another, and pickleball related for my MOH!! I don't know anything about the last 2 so I'm googling like crazy for reasonably priced gifts.

I based their gifts off their interests/personality. for example: my MOH loves makeup and wine and is a social worker. I am having a wine glass personalized with her name, a bottle of her fav wine, a charm with her profession on it and a giftcard to Sephora.

    Keep it simple for yourself.
