I'm in a planning lull right now so I've been trying to think of what to do for centerpieces. I was thinking of trying to find something non floral to do to try and keep costs down and save where I can. If anyone has done or is doing non floral centerpieces I would love to see pics! Also if anyone...

We did jars with twigs, water and candles with some river rock laid out.

I would recommend this as a great idea to anyone. We did a glass vase with 4 hydrangeas from sams $2.50 each and I think the whole thing was. $14 with the glass vase rental. I did this for the engagement ceremony(FH is Vietnamese and it's part of the traditions) (I did go over with decor) but still this is a great centerpiece, economical, super cute and super easy to do.

This is my inspiration. I've already purchased almost all of the vases!

Our venue has lanterns we can borrow at no cost, so I will be using those with fairy lights and fake fall leaves inside (not sure how that'd help with a May wedding, but I'm in love with it Smiley smile )

I don't have pictures, because I haven't officially set this up yet, but I'm doing an 8" round mirror in the center of each table with a dark blue votive candle in a clear holder and two white tealights. It's really simple, but it will look nice and open up and light up the room.
