Non-floral Centerpieces!

Did anyone use something besides real flowers for centerpieces? I'd like to see pictures or hear any input regarding garland/eucalyptus as a centerpiece or table-runner? I don't want a huge portion of my budget to go towards real flowers but I am open to having fake flowers but just tastefully and at a mininum. Bonus points if you have a lot of candles and greenery as my wedding is in january and i'd like to keep the decorations as moody and romantic as possible without a bunch of flowers. thanks for any help you give!

We had a mix of both but our eucalyptus garland was the same price as the floral centerpiece for the round tables. We paid $160 for each 8 person table.

Our centerpieces are flowerless. They're composed of a 14" table square, birch round, candles, berry garland, and table numbers. The framed item is a card stating that we'll be making donations in lieu of favors. All in all, for 10 centerpieces we spent about $225.

We are going for a rustic woods theme. The centerpieces are wood rounds, moss, vintage bottles with a spring of lavender in one and eucalyptus in the other, a small wood block as a riser, table numbers, and a wine glass with the bottom cut off and a flameless candle inside. My friend said it needed more purple so I added the butterflies. My mom loves butterflies and we associate them with loved ones who have passed.

We're having fake flowers. We made baseball bases to hold them, and we'll have the table numbers and candles on a platter with them.

I went to a wedding where the centerpieces were small stacks of hardcover books with candles on them and a sprig of greenery and it was really pretty.
