No veil

Has anyone not worn a veil or is anyone planning on not wearing a veil? Did you wear a hair clip? Or what other ideas did you have?

I did not wear a veil. We had a beach wedding however! I got these "flower pins" off Etsy which my hairdresser put in the back (see picture ~ FYT this was taken before I was "in" my dress). I loved the look & it fit our venue & theme Smiley love

I’m was planning on not wearing one but I’ve seen pictures recently of really long veils that sit under an updo that’s making me change my mind.

I don’t think I want to wear one, I was planning on wearing something decorative in my hair though. All found on Etsy.

I did not wear a veil. A beach wedding and I was worried about the wind! There are so many pretty hairpieces out there! I do not regret not having one! No veil 4

I decided to not wear a veil! I got a cute little hair clip and added some sunflowers to it, to match our wedding flowers! I think it will look great, plus it won’t take away from my dress like I felt a veil would have!

No veil here, either. (I mean, seriously 65 y.o. and third wedding LOLOL) That being said, I AM wearing a sparkly headband. Super curly hair so flower headband looked ridiculous. Smiley love

I wore a veil for our elopement but decided it really wasn't me. I pulled it out after the ceremony and like all of the elopement photos without it much better. When we had our "redo" wedding celebration this year, I just wore some fancy DIY hair pins!

I loved having a hair accent, especially since I wore no jewelry other than my rings. It helped me look put together without being overly blingy.

Sorry all the photos are kissing photos. They are pretty much the only in-focus shots I have of the pins in my hair.

I was on the fence about veil or no veil. Had my second dress fitting today and both the seamstress and my bridesmaid agreed the dress looks better with no veil. I’m wearing a hair piece with half updo to the side. My ceremony will be outside by a river bank so that factored into the no veil decision as well. No veil 10

No veil for me. At first, I didn't even think about it until someone asked. Clearly, it wasn't important to me at all LOL. I want people to see the back of my dress and I think they are a waste of money. Most brides wear them for what, an hour or two? Most of my friends who have gotten married take the veil off the second the ceremony is over and it gets shoved in a bag. Hard pass.
