No train

I’m worried my dress won’t feel “bridal” without a train. Anyone else’s dress not have one? Did you regret it?

I don't have a train really and I absolutely don't regret it. #1 I don't have to pay for alterations and a bustle. #2 its lighter and more comfy.

I didn't have one and I don't regret it because I already had a hard enough time walking in mine

Dresses without trains can still be bridal! If you don’t feel like it, you could opt for a long veil.

My dress has a slight train. When I first went dress shopping I wanted the long train but after thinking about it I'm so glad I chose not to have one because my ceremony venue includes stairs and grass so I felt like those two things could mess it up so no I don't regret it and love my dress even more than I did when I first bought it a year ago!

I regret having a train, honestly. I found it more of a burden day of than anything, and I don’t think it added to my bridal experience. Believe me, I love a beautiful wedding train , but on your wedding day you’ll feel like a bride no matter what . Not having one won’t make you any less bridal.

I’m planning to not have a train on mine. It seems like it might be a hassle durning the reception. You could always do a long veil!

No not at all. I bought a dress with a 2 foot train. After having it for 6 months in my closet it’s at the seamstress getting chopped! Idk what I was thinking. My venue is in a Country Club. Lots of grass. So I got a cathedral veil instead

Have you considered a longer veil with some sort of lace trim or design? That’ll give the same effect of a veil but you can take it off after the ceremony

Due to my dress' design, I am considering no train! I will look into bustle options when I go for my first fitting, but when the lady showed me what it would look like bustled when I bought it, I hated it. So I am going to look at options before deciding no train, but I don't see a reason to keep it if it's going to look awful bustled.

I do not have a train on mine and I love it. This is my second wedding and I had a long one the first time and it was heavy and bulky when it was bussled. Though, as PP stated above, you could always get a long veil to give you a but of a "train" that you can remove later on.
