As FH and I were reviewing our budget and updating the cost of everything to date, it hit me- "What are we going to do about wedding bands?" I don't know why we didn't bring this obvious expense up before we did, but I ran my solution by him and he was doubtful.. On QVC they sell beautiful Eternity platinum-clad Diamonique wedding bands (that will never turn your finger green) and look amazing! While my engagement ring is the real deal that he spent 5k on, I didn't feel the need to rush this expense that simply can wait with a good "fill in temporary band". I bought 2 different bands for myself at $41 bucks each, one is simple round 'diamonds' and the other has baguettes all the way around. I must say that I am impressed, especially considering that I had never ordered anything from a home shopping network. I just thought I would share my temporary solution to wedding band cost and how to buy yourself some time if you need it!
