No one has rsvp'd

A lot of people say that people wait till the last minute to RSVP so maybe more people will be sending them!! I am scared for when I send mine out!!

Ten days is a lifetime. If your anxious, send out emails that say something like "I know the RSVPs aren't due for 10 days, however, we're trying to get an early head count, could you please let us know if you are coming?" If I got that email, I wouldn't mind. Not sure about "etiquette" though. It probably breaks all the rules.

I agree with Shelby. You will probably get most back right around your dead line or shortly after. But I know it is not easy to wait and must be disappointing for you at this point that people are not more on the ball about it.

My deadline was Friday and we still need 31 responses. I'm going to be making phone calls tomorrow!

Our deadline is Sunday and we are missing a ton of RSVPs! I'm not looking at numbers anymore. If they want to be there, they'll be there. If they can't or don't want to come.. one less mouth to feed and one less person to entertain

People don't find any urgency in RSVPs, and some people just aren't good at getting things in the mail. Just because they haven't RSVP'd doesn't mean they aren't coming, trust me!

Just wait until a few days before and then start to message to send a friendly reminder to people to either send it in or let you know by phone or email.

Thanks guys! I actually have my rsvp set up so that all they have to do is call, text or email me to let me know if they can come or not. I guess that's what makes it worse because sending a text doesn't take a lot of effort! I am just going to wait and if people don't rsvp then I will send them a reminder. I think I just need to accept that the people that want to be there will be.

Don't send any "reminder" emails before your actual deadline. It's rude. You set the deadline, so give people until then to reply. Once the deadline has passed, then start following up with the non-responders. I'm sure you will get lots of replies in the next 10 days.

My deadline is June 6 for our reception aat home, and I'm frustrated too. I haven't gotten any in the past week, and we still have over 80 people that haven't responded. I hope I will get a flood of them next week, if not I'll be sending a lot of reminder texts next weekend! I'm sure you'll still get more back, everyone's just procrastinators these days!

My deadline is also in 10 days and my RSVPs are set up the same as yours and also on Wedding Website. We've only had 69 responses out of the 210 we invited. Kinda wish we would've done mailed RSVP cards instead.

Even the people that are too lazy to RSVP, I'm sure that half of them are coming. That's what happened to me. If you invited another 30, I'm sure that at least another 15 will make it.

My deadline is today and I have 53 people who haven't RSVPed out of the 101 we invited. Very frustrating. I expected the RSVPs to come in closer to the deadline but they have actually slowed down. I hope I have a mailbox full today.

Yeah It's so frustrating because now I might have to call every person to see if they are coming or not. If I don't then I won't have a correct head count. I just don't see whats so hard about sending an email or text message! ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people drive me nuts!

Yeah, my plan is to just wait until the deadline and then on the deadline I'm going to start calling people.

Hey Miss S! So I was literally on my way to the post office and they called me and set up a date for a walk through. Thanks for all your help with everything, I was just so overwhelmed since we are moving to michigan this month!

@LadyMonk That's what I am going to do, and if they end up not coming well screw it then less money out of my pocket!

10 days is a lot of time in the world of RSVPs.
