No kids

Oh yes so many bride's post this question. All you can do is hold your ground and accept that means some people won't come.

It's pretty common for people to disagree with adults only weddings, especially if you have a lot of parents on your guest list. I think people inevitably have problems with some aspect of all weddings (adults only, dry wedding, cash bar, buffet vs plated, gap between ceremony & reception, etc.) so don't let it bother you!

Oh yes. My sister kept trying to talk me into letting her son (my only nephew) come. He’s 12 but I really didn’t want any kids. There was an open bar and lots of people who just wanted to have fun and my sister would have been distracted with him. I just held firm and said no kids.....sorry! My day, my rules. 😊

Yuck, I would be upset if someone attempted to change anything about my wedding but especially something this big. Im also having an adult reception and its not something im willing to budge on.

We decided on no kids and I have 2 first cousins who are in their early teens. My grandmother has not let me hear the end of it but we are sticking to our decision. It wasn’t easy to cut them out but it’s a Pandora’s box, and it’s the decision we made and we’re sticking to it!

Yes I’m definitely sticking with the no kids at ceremony but I’m slowly moving towards no kids at all for one person who’s giving the most issue or just removing her from the list as a whole

Same here I’m getting asked why no kids. I agree with the person above about people are going to have issues with every decision made no matter what ...you can’t please everyone.
