No hosted alcohol

So we are having an early wedding, ceremony at 11 AM and reception to follow, it's on a Sunday. So I don't really feel too terrible about not hosting the bar. The bar will be stocked so people can purchase drinks but we are not paying for it. My question is, is there a way to relay that on the invitation?

    I agree that you don’t need to provide alcohol if your wedding and reception are in the morning. I’d say ceremony at 11, reception to follow. Cash bar provided.

    If you're having a wedding website, I would leave that information there and not on the invitations. If you're not doing one, then I think the way Samantha said it would be good.

    I think people may be expecting some sort of bloody mary or mimosa bar (which would be nice if you can budget a signature drink of some kind even though it is morning-people still love to brunch drink!). Other than that, the website is the way to go.

    I've never seen an invite specify what kind of bar (if any) will be available so I wouldn't worry.
