No girl friends

We're not doing a wedding party for this very reason. We've moved several times throughout our 11- year relationship, and friendships come and go. My closest friends have kids, and I know how much I spent in years past on being a bridesmaid, and it didn't feel right to put that buden on them. A couple of them are coming to the wedding, and I plan on inviting them to help me get ready.

I didn't invite anyone either. Don't worry about it; there is no prescribed number for a BP. Enjoy your wedding!

I struggled trying to find people for my wedding party, I only ever planned on having two people. Then my FH tried coming at me with 8 groomsmen! We compromised, and ended up with 5 each. However a friend of mine is only have a MOH and Best Man in their bridal party, so it's not as uncommon as you may think.

I understand how you feel but in my Fiancé’s situation. He has friends but none close enough that he would want to have in the wedding. So we went with no formal bridal party all together. So much easier!

We decided not to have a wedding party at all. We originally each had 3 chosen. Me and my fiance each have a 5 year old from a previous relationship. So we decided to have his son be our ring bearer/bestman and my daughter be our flowergirl/maid of honor.

I have two bridesmen! I only have one really close gf and she's my maid of honor.
