No candy display -- Personalized M&Ms Help!

Julia, on August 22, 2013 at 12:01 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13

I am hoping you guys can help me.

I received a 5lb bag of personalized M&Ms for my wedding. It was a super awesome gift but I’m not entirely sure what I should do with them. I am not having a sweet table and I don’t want to have a candy dish at each table so I am limited on how I can arrange this.

Does anyone have any creative/cute ideas on how I could display these? Pictures would be helpful. 

Thank you!

Put them inside little tied sacks to go along with your favors.

Have them at your guest book and escort card table?

I should have mentioned—I don’t want to have them with the favors because I wouldn’t have enough M&Ms (plus I’m making cakepops so it would be weird to put them together).

I thought about having them by the guestbook but I can’t visualize anything! I have no idea how to even set it up.

I think by the guest book would be a nice option or at the card table. not sure what your theme or look of your wedding is. but if you go to any home goods/tj maxx/ross/ac moore. you can find nice glass containers and dishes of all sorts. pick one you like and roll with it! Smiley smile

How about in a glass jar/vase on the cake table?

I'd eat them! lol yes all 5lbs of them. LOL

    M&M's my favorite candy.

I would probably buy a small drawstring sheer mesh bag and attach some sort of note to the drawstring.

A heart bowl. A giant martini glass. A candy dish.

Maybe you could make a centerpiece out of them. Get a cheap vase from DT or something and some dum dum pops and put on receiving table. Wouldn't cost no more than 4.00 bucks. At the end of the reception the guest can grab on the way out.

I found a pic to give you a idea

Are you having a bar? If so can you put them out there in a nice vase or dish? 5 lbs, while sounds like a lot, really isn't depending on how large your wedding is. What about saving them for when you open gifts or have a dinner party?

If there are kids coming to your wedding, you could make small bags just for them. other than that I also like the idea of putting them in locations where people will pass by (guestbook, bar...) and also suggest you place a spoon in the bowl. Smiley smile

I have a couple ideas that I am doing at my wedding... one I am making goodie bags for the kids with candies and coloring pages and crayons... you could make goodie bags for kids... or another idea what I am doing is taking two small flower girl baskets and putting them on my cake table with the little sixlets candies in them the color of my wedding...
