No bridal party

Emily, on February 1, 2022 at 7:52 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 1 5
I’m thinking about not having a formal bridal party, but would still like to honor what would be my bridesmaids in some way. What are some things you’ve seen/done that you’ve liked? TIA!!

I would just ask them to spend the morning getting ready with you.

Get ready together, ask them to dress in a certain colour scheme and reserve seats in the front row or two for them, have someone give a toast/speech, do a bachelorette party, have them walk down the aisle, but then sit rather than stand with you.

Getting ready together is fun, maybe get them a corsage, have seating reserved at the front for them, giving each of them a gift are a few ideas.

I'm also not having a formal bridal party but I'm having a relaxing "bachelorette" weekend a month before the wedding with the women that would have been my bridesmaids. It's just going to be my closest girlfriends, 2 sisters and me renting an Airbnb with a pool in Palm Springs for the weekend. I'm so excited!

I’m not having a bridal party either don’t want to deal with the stress of it. But what I am doing is sitting my 25 of my closest girlfriends in a special section and ordering bouquets and Tiffany bracelets for all.
