Hi! My fiance and I have chosen not to have a traditional bridal party (no groomsmen or bridesmaids). Thus, it will just be us standing up there with our officiant. For this reason, I am having trouble planning a full ceremony. Of course, the officiant and groom will walk out first, and then me with my father. However, that's all we have. There are no brothers/sisters in the picture to be involved in the ceremony. It will seem very short if I (the bride) is walking down right away, and I am worried the entire ceremony will be under 8 to 10 minutes. I want to play two different songs during the processional, but there's not enough filler to do so.

Any suggestions on how to make the ceremony longer or more full? I don't want it to seem lame or like there is no "build up" to the bride coming out if I come out like 1 minute into the whole process. Any suggestions would be kindly appreciated- I appreciate all creativity.

Has anyone else not had a bridal party? What did you do for the ceremony?

What did you end up doing, if I may ask?
