No Bouquet toss?

We are having a small wedding of about 50 people, most of which will be married couples. We will only have about 3 single ladies attending. Should I for go the bouquet toss? We are already not doing a garter toss mostly because neither me or my FH want it. Are there any alternative traditions?!

We didn't do either tosses, and no one missed them at all.

We didn't do either toss, and didn't replace it with anything else. We just had more time for dancing. Nobody mentioned anything about missing it.

No. We skipped both. Actually, I haven't seen them at weddings in years!

Since my bouquet comes with the toss away, I'm giving it to the oldest married couple. I'm in the same boat as you are. 60 people, 3 are single.

I have always hated the bouquet toss. I feel like it parades those that aren't married and it is embarrassing. I am not doing one. We also only have 5 single women and 3 single men so it would be awkward for them. My vote is don't do it if you don't want to.

I don't want to do one. I find it kinda awkward. I definitely don't want to do the garter toss, which I find super awkward, so it makes sense to just skip them both.

I was thinking about doing one then all my close friends got engaged! We are going to skip it. I'd rather the guests have more time to drink/eat/dance.

I believe you know your crowd best. If most of your guests are married then yes it would been extremely awkward to do a bouquet toss to one or 2 ladies. I like the anniversary dance idea. We had a bouquet and garter toss simply because we had a lot of single friends and they absolutely loved it.

We are not doing one. Same as you we are having a small wedding and the only ones that aren't married are our children. So I said nah we'll skip it.

We aren't doing the bouquet or garter toss. Since we're older, most of our guests are, too, and I felt it would be embarrassing for women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s to participate. We are doing the anniversary dance and my florist is supplying an extra, small bouquet for the winners.
