No bm getting ready

My wedding is a DW and not most of my bridal party is staying outside of the hotel at AirBnBs, etc. I’m going to offer they get ready with me in my hotel suite and I’m offering to pay hair and makeup. But I’m not thinking of getting them the traditional robes or other getting ready paraphernalia. I’m concerned making a few of my BMs uncomfortable and some may not even want h/m so might not be there until towards the end.

Just wondering if anyone else didn’t do the getting ready stuff. And what did you get your BMs instead as gifts?

Haven't had a ceremony yet but the last wedding I was a bridesmaid in there was a dressing room at the venue but most of us got hair and make up done off site and more so used the venue to get dressed and a few of us to put on make up. You could offer both options. I have gotten thank you bags or packages or some gifts were more for items to wear in the wedding like necklaces or earrings. Check etsy for some ideas.

Our plan is, offer to have everyone get ready in the same room with hair and makeup. If they don't want to, that is fine. However, we do plan on having some "getting ready" photos. My mom zipping up my dress, the ladies having a glass of wine, etc. Perhaps you could offer the hair and makeup, as well as a place to get ready without forcing it upon them. I would also have a deadline for the ladies due to the photographer. Tell them to please be present an hour before the wedding for a few shots with just the ladies in the bridal suite! I believe most people would find this acceptable even if they didn't want hair and makeup done.

My fh doesn't want a bunch of people in the room but he still okay'd a whiskey shot with the guys! Still providing memories without invading anyones space!

Hey there!! Even if your girls don’t want to have their hair and makeup done professionally, they can still get ready with you. Do you think they would bring their own makeup with them and get ready in your suite so that they can still enjoy the festivities?
If you want to buy a gift for each of your BMs, you should think about each of their individual interests. Think about what you would get them if it were their birthdays.
