Nintendo Save the Date

Sandy, on September 5, 2018 at 8:28 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 37
My wedding theme is Nintendo. Thought it be cool to do something different and fun. Then seeing the same elegant wedding all the time. Here is my save the date. I feel like I am missing something. I made it myself. It fits the personality of my husband to be and I. What is everyone else doing for the save the date?

Oh, these are awesome! The only thing I would suggest is including the city you plan to marry in so that people can book travel. Smiley smile

These are soo cute! I agree with adding city, also because I have issues, I would switch the names to the opposite sides because their corresponding character is on the opposite side. But that is totally no big deal, just what I would do lol.

Those are so creative! I agree on adding the city and state the wedding will be in. I had put our website info on ours as well but that is definitely not a must.

I love these!! And I agree with the city being on them.. especially if you have out of town guests. 3 of our guests have already booked airfare and hotel for our April 2019 wedding. I haven't even sent out invitations! I sent out save the dates 9 months out because of all the out of town guests.

    It’s a wedding not a child’s birthday party.

    Hello everyone,
Thank you all for helping me get some ideas. I didn't think about adding the city until now from the help from all of you. Thank you BRae, for your input I'll look into it because you have gave me an idea to make it better.

Like I said it is a Nintendo themed wedding. I am a gamer and so is my future husband. Maybe there are some who is not into gaming. You think it childish but it something he and I grew up with before PlayStation and Xbox came out. I still have my original nintendo system. He still has his original gameboy. The color is Nintendo Wii U - blue has you see from the box and the game case. I will be posting more photos soon that is Nintendo related.

Lots of people have themed weddings, there’s nothing wrong with that. Weddings are supposed to be a fun and joyous occasion that celebrates the couple. If Nintendo makes them happy and they feel it represents them, then what’s wrong with a Nintendo themed wedding? My friend had a Disney themed wedding recently and it was tasteful and classy. Personally I’d much rather attend a Nintendo or Disney themed wedding than one without anything special or unique about it.

Love these. So much. Very creative & I’m so excited about your theme! I agree with others: swap the name placement, add a city, you’re good to go!

Wow, these are so so fun! Are you planning to have a Mario and Peach themed wedding? Or, will you include all Nintendo characters? What other ideas have you come up with so far?
