So, I'm trying to decide what to do. Hotels are so friggin expensive. My fiance wants to sleep at our apartment cause his parents will have a full house. So, I'm trying to decide what to do. Hotels are so friggin expensive. My fiance wants to sleep at our apartment cause his parents will have a full house. Which leaves me with no place to sleep except at a hotel. I found a few that were close, but, I seriously don't want to pay $200 to sleep there. I need one hotel for the night before the wedding and the wedding night. Can't stay with my family because they have a full house. So, there's me. The Bride. Without a bed. Anyone else in this situation? Should I just go ahead use my credit card for the hotel?

I'll just throw this idea out there, maybe stay with MOH? OR even go in with your BP on a room and have a girls night?

Just stay home, I'd say. It's not worth the hundred or so dollars it will cost just to check off a silly tradition/superstition, IMHO. Lots of people were telling my fiance & I that we couldn't stay in our apartment together the night before, but why would either of us want to make things more difficult for ourselves/throw off our routine on the most important day of our lives? You don't want him to see you in your dress, that's the main thing.

Thanks for all your replies! This post was 3 years ago! LOLOLOL I ended up getting a hotel room night of rehearsal and woke up in my own huge bed and then got my sister and her dress at my mom's and headed over to the venue to get ready. Then my hubby and I stayed in the same hotel room on our wedding night. It was at Hampton Inn and it worked out and yes, it was $200 total for 2 nights in October.
