nh Elopement suggestions

Kate, on November 16, 2019 at 8:03 PM Posted in New Hampshire Planning 0 9
Hello!

My fiancée and I are looking for a place to elope in NH next October. We would like somewhere with a nice view to have a ceremony with just our kids and immediate family present. We don’t care if it’s a resort with amenities or a park, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions?
TIA!
Kate

Not sure what area you are in but Greeley Park in Nashua is beautiful.

Welcome to the community Kate! Congratulations on your engagement! Your intimate wedding sounds beautiful! How many guests would you anticipate attending?

You could definitely start your search for a venue in the venue search tool here on WeddingWire. Here are the New Hampshire Wedding Venues that are listed. I’ve also added the smallest capacity available in the filters for this search.

Do you have somewhere specific in New Hampshire that you want to get married?

If so, you could start looking into local restaurants that have a private event space or an outdoor decking area. You could also check out local parks and check with local government if a permit or payment is required to use the space for a ceremony. If you are looking for something a little more unconventional, you could look into historical buildings, museums, and libraries as venues.

Have you thought about working with a wedding planner in NH?

There are tons of B&Bs in NH, especially in the White Mountains. We were going to elope (since decided to have a wedding) and head up to the Christmas Farm Inn in Jackson, NH. It's beautiful and affordable.

I believe the Inn at Pleasant Lake has smaller elopement packages. We checked it out last year and it was beautiful! It was just too small inside when we decided to up our guest list to 60.

Cathedral of the Pines would be really pretty that time of year. They have a small indoor reception hall too, I think.

Are you looking to elope somewhere in NH and then have a reception somewhere else in NH? Bc there are a lot of beautiful places to elope in NH and places to have a reception as well and some can do both so it depends on how big you want to go. Sorry if that’s not helpful. Not sure what exactly you are looking for.
