Should I be booking a venue now? I wanted to get married next year 2020, but highly thinking about 2021 to give me more time to plan and save. Thoughts?

It’s great that you have so much time to plan for your wedding. It’s absolutely not too early to start looking into venues for 2021. At the very least, it means that they will be unlikely to be booked already and you can have your first pick.
Have you looked into some venues that you would be interested in visiting and doing a site visit?
Do you know what style of venue you would like?

You should definitely start looking now. I got in engaged in June 2019 and found a venue in July. The venues fill up quick depending on the season you are looking to get married.
