New York Marriage Certificate

So our town clerk gave us like zero extra information and I've been scouring the internet and can't seem to find an answer to this - in New York State (outside of NYC, since that seems to matter), after the officiant mails in the marriage license and it gets filed with the town clerk, do they mail us a marriage certificate or do I need to request it separately?

Found it! For anyone else wondering, they should send you a certificate in the mail within 15 days.

It was on this page burried under the "how much does a license cost" section...
