Have you booked a venue? Have you set a budget or made a rough guest list? Your profile says your wedding date is in September; if that's true, it will be difficult to find vendors on such short notice (the average engagement length is 15 months).

Welcome! Enjoy being engaged first. Unless you want to elope quickly, browse the forum for ideas. Before you look for a venue, sit down with fiancé to discuss your vision (what do you want to focus on and what do you want to cut), budget without outside help and who are your must have invited guests. Get that figured out before you find a venue. Keep in mind that a blank slate venue that allows outside catering is less expensive and allows you more flexibility than all inclusives. .

I agree with Jasmine. Getting started now for a September wedding can make it really difficult to find vendors. It also doesn't give you a lot of time to DIY. What kind of celebration do you plan on having?

Welcome, Ronnesha! If you are just starting out with planning your wedding then I would reccomend figuring out your budget and what kind of wedding you and your partner want first (approx. guest count, formal/casual, indoor/outdoor, wedding colors). Once you have that, start looking for vendors in your area ASAP. 6 months is not a lot of time but it is not impossible if you get creative. You can always come back to us here on the WW forums for specific questions or advice!
