These are some more dresses I tried on, I think A-line ball gown is the way to go for me. You all have been very supportive and encouraging. I have 1 years and 1 month to plan my wedding from now (well December 5, 2020 is when we are getting married, so I have time). But I want to try one dresses...
These are some more dresses I tried on, I think A-line ball gown is the way to go for me. You all have been very supportive and encouraging. I have 1 years and 1 month to plan my wedding from now (well December 5, 2020 is when we are getting married, so I have time). But I want to try one dresses with sleeves (like actual sleeves not “lace sleeves”, like solid sleeves or solid sleeves, not the mesh kind. I did post a pic earlier about a simple long sleeve dress with a slit. Yes like that, open to bridal salons that carry those types of dresses in Southern CA (willing to travel to San Diego too)

So many more beautiful dresses! There are plenty of bridal shops in OC. Check out Casablanca’s website to see if you like any of the gowns and if so, book an apt there. Mon Amie & Panache have a great designer selection.

My budget is strict $2000 ($2500 to include alterations). I can’t do anymore than that. Peneache and Mon Amie is very expensive. But thank you for the suggestions. Where is Casablanca?

Ah. I don’t remember Panache. But I worked at Mon Amie earlier this year—they do have several gowns from Moonlight, Watters & Lilian West dresses under $2K. Oh man, if you can push your dress budget to $2300 that could help a lot.

I got my wedding dress at Blush but I don’t think they have much under $2K (small boutique). I got my reception dress at Ferndales in Orange and wish I had also looked there for my wedding dress. Not a fancy store but budget-friendly designers (at least in 2016) and reasonable alterations cost.

Casablanca is Newport Coast (right on PCH, below the Marriott Resort). They make all their own dresses, so they will customize. Daughter almost ordered a custom dress there.
