I won't be getting married until September 2020 so I have plenty of time to figure this out, but does anyone have recommendations for makeup and hair stylists in the New Braunfels area? I've done some poking around on wedding wire and the knot for hair and makeup, but I haven't been super impressed/some prices don't seem worth it/some artists have mixed reviews. At this point I'm 80% sure I want to do my own makeup because I have quality products and love doing my own makeup, but I know nothing about styling hair so will definitely be looking to hire a hair stylist.

Not in New Braunfels, but I booked JAX studio here in San Antonio for my wedding. They do amazing work.

Do you have a trusted hairstylist that you like to go to? You could see if they are available on the day of your wedding, or if they have any recommendations for someone they know is really good. Have you thought about what hairstyle you would like to have?
I find the Instagram is a great place to find freelance makeup artists if you are still interested in hiring one instead of doing your own makeup.
