My fiancé and I are both giant nerds, he loves Star Wars, Dragon Ball and video games and I love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, we both love Marvel and Game of Thrones. I want our first look to be a big nerdy surprise for him that represents both of us, but I’m having trouble thinking of ideas! Maybe a photo backdrop? Any ideas would be much appreciated!

    You could tap him on the shoulder and be wearing a Darth Vader mask when he turns around? lol

    This isn't first look related, but maybe you could do a groom's cake with a Star Wars theme or something else he enjoys?

    You could also do a cute nail accent and bouquet accent. You could do a Star Wars accent nail. You could also wrap some charms of these things you two like around your bouquet. What a great idea to incorporate the things you both love!

    Hey Cassidy!!

    I love Caytlyn's idea of having you in a Darth Vader mask! You could also maybe have some costume choices ready to go for you two to take a few pictures in! You could even include the backdrop if you wanted! One of our community members put on fake teeth for their first look too - I thought that was hilarious! Smiley xd

    Since you both like Marvel, why not wear masks or be standing with your back to him wearing a cape. I really love the Darth Vader mask too though!!!!

    We are adding nerdy touches including my corsage (I'm not carrying flowers) made from comic books, I'll be carrying River Song's journal and she'll carry a Winnie The Pooh journal with our vows in them, and a "Mischief Managed" sign that will be placed once all the guests are seated so they see it for the first time when they return to the house after the ceremony.
