Negative Coronavirus calls lol

Sylvie, on April 28, 2020 at 7:49 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 8
Just wondering if anyone else is getting phone calls like this....Omg what are you guys going to do? Omg Chile if I were you I would get my money back and just go to the justice of the peace.... Omg you better hope people won’t have to wear masks at your wedding.... Why didn’t you just have something quick... All of your money is going down the drain... I’m receiving more Negativity calls than Positive ones 😂😂😂 The positive calls were more like this... Omg I can’t wait until your wedding I’m definitely going to party hard!!!! I’m just calling to make sure things are still going and if there is anything I can help you do! I just got disappointed for a bit but I’m over the negative crap😩😩😩😩😩😩😩🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Lol people are still pretty panicked, so it's safe to say the negative calls will last for awhile. I've gotten a few positive - we talked to both my father in law, who is a doctor and believes a wedding will be feasible by August with safety precautions and my hubby's cousin who is a nurse on the front lines. He also told us we should keep planning for August. Of course there are also people telling us that we might want to postpone again, but who really knows?!!! We couldn't predict this shut down, so we have no idea what August will look like. I think at this point you just have to do what makes sense for you guys and try to ignore all of the opinions.

The negativity is what’s getting to me. I was talking to my FH last night and was like do you think people are just saying everything will be fine before August so I don’t lose my mind 😂 I understand that there are people that are sick out there but at the same people also need to let us deal with our emotions how we need to. I feel guilty but at the same time we deserve to have our weddings and a day where people see our love. I just want our day damn it 😂

The amount of people who joke with us about postponing blows my mind 😅or the amount of people that are like omg are you nervous you’ll have to postpone?? Like yes Betty I’m terrified but you asking me isn’t going to help now is it??

Right!!! Like do you think I’m not already worried enough already? I had a coworker say just go to the courthouse and I said that If we were to elope we’d have a reception at a later date, and she goes no you won’t you’ll just move on with life. I’m sorry Mrs. I’ve been married 6 times!! I swear some people don’t think before they speak 🙄

Haha, that’s ridiculous! “You’ll move on with life” okay but you still had a big wedding for your day lady 😂I HATE when married friends are like yeah weddings are overrated and too expensive but yet they had one and they have that memory..
