Necklace for sweetheart dress?

Meagan, on July 28, 2017 at 12:13 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17

Hi, I have a sweetheart neckline, strapless ball gown I will be wearing. I feel bare on top and wanted a necklace, but I fell in love with a headpiece, and don't want to do overkill with all the accessories.

My hair will be up for the wedding, but I only have a pic of me in the dress with my hair down. What do you think, could I forgo the necklace or should I wear something simple?

A simple necklace would be beautiful. Just keep it short.

I did a very simple round diamond pendant necklace and tried on a million others. I think it looked simple yet there was a little something.

My dress is very similar to yours and I wore my hair up with a flower crown with no necklace. I didn't think I needed one but if you want one I'd say super simple.

I wore a simple teardrop pendant necklace and a sparkly headband in my hair (my hair was also up)

A short dainty necklace would look super cute. That's what I am doing since my veil and belt have alot going on

You feel "bear on top"? Lol!

I think a small necklace would be perfect!

I suggest a pearl necklace. Simple but helps complete the look

I have the same neckline and dress style, and I went with some earrings. They're more of a statement, so no necklace for me. IMO, you could go without a necklace and just do earrings but if you really want a necklace, I'd check out BHLDN.

    Here are my earrings anyway...

I have a strapless sweet heart ballgown as well. I'm skipping the necklace. I have bigger earrings that my sister is loaning me that she wore to her wedding and I purchased a big chunky pearl/diamond bracelet.
