Navy Tuxes With Navy Bridesmaid Dresses?

FutureMrsDeShong, on August 21, 2017 at 3:06 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

Hello! My girls already have their navy dresses, and will have cream, and burgundy bouquets with greenery. My FH has told me for 8 months that he specifically wants all the guys (and him) in black tuxes. Now he is pretty certain that he wants navy.. He has been so wonderful through everything and has hardly had an opinion on anything. Would all navy look bad? There will be the flowers to break up the color, I'm not too sure on it though. But he really wants it, so I'm probably going to let him have it.. Smiley winking Anyone have any pictures of an all navy wedding party? What do you think? Navy tux, bow tie, brown shoes, navy dresses, and pretty colorful flowers.

I think it will look great, but depending on your preference, you may want to compare swatches of each navy to make sure they are not too disparate.

Navy wouldn't be bad together just opt for a different color tie to break it up

Maybe have their bow ties match the flowers in the cream or burgundy colors. I actually think navy and navy would look better than navy and black.

We are doing pretty close to the same. Expect we have yellow ties to go with the sunflowers. If you look on Pinterest there are some awesome pictures of navy blue bridal parties

I was debating on this too! Since you're having a Winter wedding that totally makes sense whereas for mine, it might look odd in late Spring, lol.

Is yours going to be a morning, afternoon, or evening wedding? Ours is evening (ceremony at 6, reception at 7) so I'm also considering gold or rose gold for the dresses.

I just googled pics of this and it actually looks quite classy and lovely. If it's what you both want -go for it!

    Edit for typo*

We're doing this, but FW and I each have guys and girls on each side, so we wanted them to fit in better. The girls will have coral flowers and the guys coral vests

Ours is a 4 o'clock ceremony. I couldn't find many pictures but I switched how I phrased it and found some more! I may do his bow tie cream and their ties burgundy? So many silly details

Navy and navy will look fine.

The men should never be treated like an accessory to the women and have them wearing vests or ties that match the BM's dresses. That is such a high school prom look. The men should choose their accessories for their tux, not for the BM's.

I vote for navy dresses and Nlnavy tuxes. Just maube use a pop of color for the ties.

I just googled navy tux and bridesmaid dresses, and some nice pictures came up. It looks good with a navy suit (no vest) and white shirt to break up the navy.
