Navy Officer Dress Blues or Whites?

We are having a June wedding and even though you are supposed to wear the whites, the groom can choose to wear the dress blues because it is not a Navy function. What do you think he should wear? I've already gotten my dress. It is ivory with a champagne underlay at the bottom. I've seen ivory with the dress whites and it looked fine--almost better than just white like some people think. I just love how iconoic the white uniform is like Officer and a Gentleman. I just can't decide. On the one hand I would stand out in my dress but on the other I just love the white uniform. My fiance is leaning towards the blues though... any opinions?

Personally I like the blues MUCH better. The whites will look odd next to an ivory dress IMHO.

IMO I think the blues are classic. But I also think a wedding is a perfect excuse to wear his whites.
It's really his choice.

unless your white dress matches his uniform white exactly, otherwise one of you will look dirty (IMO).
