It’s the National Bridal Sale Event day! I’m currently staked out in front of a local boutique to take part in their massive sample sale, in which all dresses are under $500 and all accessories are 75% off. Got here at o’dark thirty because I’m competitive and want the best selection possible (and because there’s one dress in particular I have my eye on!). Is anyone else trying to capitalize on sales today?

Ooo excited to see what you got. My friend went to this liquidation sale of this bridal boutique that was bankrupt and she got a nice dress for really cheap

Nice! I’m all about finding the deals, especially on a gown you’re only going to wear for a few hours! I’d rather spend the extra money on more things at the reception!

Fun! I bought my dress during the national sale event last year, although it wasn't a sample sale in my case, just a discount off the one I ordered.

I’m back! I was the first one in line, so I bee-lined to the dress I knew I wanted to try on again. I also grabbed a couple others to try to see how I liked them (first 4 pictures). By the time I had finished trying all of them on and went back to the showroom, the racks were pretty picked clean from ladies trying on all their choices. I ended up still loving the original (last two pictures) so decided to buy it; 85% off it’s original price! I figured even if I find something I end up liking more, I couldn’t pass up the price!

Thank you! I got lucky and happened on an ad about it in a bridal magazine I bought at the airport this past spring. I was able to figure out which boutiques around me were participating and have been following them on Instagram to stay tuned to the kinds of deals they were offering for the event. Definitely lucked out!
