Nashville or Charleston Bachelorette

Jenna, on August 2, 2017 at 7:07 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

My MOH is planning a bachelorette party for me and she wants to know if I want it to be in Nashville or Charleston.

Looking for input, pros/cons, any advice from those who live there, had bachelorette parties there, or are just familiar with the two cities. Thanks!

I live in VA and my MOH lives in MA. I don't have any BMs, so it will most likely be just the two of us and she has assured me she can afford it.

Do you know if one of them is more budget friendly?

I'm not sure about Nashville, but Charleston is pricey. We looked to stay there this spring even through air bnb and it was a little expensive. I LOVE Charleston though. Tons of great food and of course there's the beach.

I've never been to Charleston, but Nashville can also be pretty pricey. We have a shortage of hotels so they're expensive and airbnb's are going to run you a good $300-$500 a night on a weekend depending on when you come. That said, it's SUCH a fun city. So much food and of course downtown is bachelorette party central.

Nashville if you really want to party. Charleston if you want a laid back, super chill kind of girls weekend.

Agree with Casey...depends on the vibe you're going for. I live in Nashville and love it, but love Charleston too. Nashville if you want good music and a lively atmosphere. Charleston if you want the beach and laid back Southern charm. Both have good restaurant scenes.

They both sound like so much fun! But of course, that is a good problem to have

I live about 4 1/2 hours from Charleston. It is my favorite city in South Carolina. Depending on where you stay it can be pricey. Nashville is even more pricey. I have been there a lot as well. It really depends on your taste and what you want to do on your trip. Charleston, especially Isle of Palms has gorgeous beaches, historic sites, and tours, amazing places to eat. Nashville is more music orientated and also has amazing places to eat. Either place will be awesome for your bach!

Depending on the time of year- both are great! I've been to Nashville a few times, and we got engaged in Charleston. Charleston has the beach which is great for a girls get away and from what I saw tends to be more upscale (at least in the historic district and downtown where we stayed), and Nashville has a ton of bachelorette parties go through the city- lots of bars, music and bar hopping!
