Wedding wire i need your help! My bachelor/ette party is this weekend and I know Nashville is one of the most popular places to go. Spam me with your favorite activities, food spots, bars, shows, events, karaoke spots,, ideas, etc. Reviews for places in Nashville are also much appreciated. We're going with both sides of our bridal party for all of labor day weekend.



The plan is to hit up Play Bar for a drag show and dancing, lipstick lounge for karaoke, Arrington Vineyard for a jazz show as of now. I need a good spot for a brunch and dinner that's not super expensive or won't be tons of waiting just to get in. Thanks!

    The Bluebird Cafe is super popular & a bit famous (it was featured in a lot of scenes in the TV Show Nashville).

    Tootsie Orchid lounge is one of the most popular honky tonks. I also love Redneck Riviera.

    East Nashville has a more laid back scene, still partying, live music - but not so crazy. Especially on the weekends.

    Biscuit Love Gulch is good (a bit touristy - said by a tourist). Milk & Honey is my favorite breakfast place. Expect a wait for both, especially Biscuit Love, Milk & Honey didn't have as much of a wait.

    Urban Grub is good for a good dinner. It's pricey though.

    Biggest advise, make sure that you have a lot of small bills - $1 & $5 if you are staying at a bar for a bit. There is no cover fees, and the music acts get paid in tips (so make sure that you tip), but they put the tip bucket around so very many times that they don't notice or remember if you gave a $20 the last pass, they will call you out if you don't give during a pass.

    All the bars that I have ever been to have been.. Willie Nelson started the no cover charge thing, and it's like that everywhere.
