Names on Invitations- Junior vs Jr

I agree about letting FH decide whether to use it, but I would also abbreviate it "Jr." (Or, "JR." given your all caps font.) I understand traditional etiquette, but because the names are so large and prominent I agree it looks very odd written out. Even in the context of the most formal invitations, some abbreviations are used (e.g., "Mr. and Mrs. Jones request..."). Given the overall feel of your invitations, with the floral design, I definitely think you can take some license, so if he wants to include "Jr.," I think the abbreviation will probably look better.

My husband is a junior but we didn't include it at all on our invitations because he doesn't like it. So, first make sure your future spouse wants it there. And second, I agree that it should be abbreviated for aesthetic reasons because writing it out gives it too much emphasis compared to the rest of his name. Oh, and also, does your FS have a middle name? Because I think you should include, for consistency with your name.

Thank you!! I am using birdy grey for my girls dresses so my color scheme was basically based off the colors they have LOL but I do love burgundy! Our STD's were different because we got photos done in Mexico when we got engaged and I wanted to send them out ASAP cause we had less than a year till the wedding but I love these invites!! Gonna show the flowers in this invitation to my florist so he can try to put similar ones in our bouquets. They look like peonies to me.
