Name tags at my bridal luncheon

We ended up with name tags at my shower as well. Nobody thought it was weird or anything. I ended up buying some cute "hi my name is..." in adorable pink from ebay beforehand so everyone thought I just did it so we could match the theme of my shower.

Maybe you could possibly find some that match your theme that way no one would think anything of it. Maybe make some cute heart cutouts or something to pin on.

Andrea - I'm sure you bridal shower will be fun and the reason people are coming is because they love you. I just mean certain aspects that typically come with a shower is just ... nails on chalkboard....

OTW I totally agree. I've never even met the woman planning it, she just loves FHs mom so much that she wanted to do something nice. I am just blown away by her kindness. I think everyone will be ok, hey--there'll be champagne so I'm POSITIVE they'll be ok lol

That's the WORST! My friends mother did that at her baby shower. Me and baby daddy tried to hide from her when she was going around with the name tags and the sharpie. My sympathies

On the upside- you could give fake names and have some fun with it...cue evil laugh
