What do you put on name cards for people who didn't RSVP?

After the RSVP deadline, I called all the people who had not responded and asked them if they were coming. If they were, they were added to the seating chart and I printed an escort card, if they weren't, I just didn't do anything.

Have you reached out to confirm if they are attending or not? I would reach out to confirm first and if you still can’t get an answer I’d assume they are not coming and wouldn’t have a name card for them.

They didn't get a namecard because we explicitly told them that if they did not RSVP by X date, we would assume they weren't attending. No one showed up who didn't RSVP or who RSVPd no.

They wouldn't get a name card since they wouldn't be attending. Once your RSVP date passes, you should contact anyone that didn't RSVP to confirm whether they are attending. You should either call, text, email, or message them on Facebook, but you'll definitely want to reach out.

Did you reach out after the deadline to them in case they forgot to reply? If you did and they said no, they will not be attending. If you did and they said yes, make a card with their with their name. If you didn't contact them yet and have not submitted a final count to your vendors at this point, call them asap.

You need to reach out to anyone who hasn't responded to get a definite yes or no. Your caterer will need an accurate head count. If you don't count those people and they show up you may not have enough food. If you count them and they don't come, you may be charged unnecessarily.
