Go to a different salon. They can fix it! You’re probably going to need acrylics or tips added for the length and design.

I would go ASAP and have them redone with acrylic nails that the PP said.

I think for the style you want I would add a little bit of acrylics too as your real nails seem shorter. I am not sure where you live but there are probably plenty of nail salons that can do that. I am so sorry my dear. I hope someone can give you what you want.

Go to a different salon. Ask for gels or acrylics.

OMG I'm so sorry. To echo the PPs, you will need acrylics to achieve the look in the first pic.

The tricky part with inspo pictures is that it’s not an exact match for our own nail shape/length. So to achieve the same look, you’re going to need acrylics to extend your nail length, along with quality gel polish and a good nail technician. So that might require going elsewhere.

Oh no..... Those are so terrible. I can’t believe they did that and take your payment. They didn’t cut your cuticles, they did a terrible job preparing the nails, and I assume you pay 😣

I would write and post that picture on their Yelp page to warn others and safe them for the disappointment. It’s unbelievable!
Go to another salon, ask for acrylics nails and clean your cuticles. Good luck!

I’m not gonna lie to you that’s quite the difference from the picture you initially took to them. Would you ever do acrylic nails or press on’s that are cut really short? They may have had a hard time getting the full design because your nails are shorter, but even still that’s nothing like the picture you showed them. If you’re truly sit on having this design, i’d highly suggest looking up yelp reviews of some really good nail salons and go to one before Saturday. It’s only nails so you definitely have enough time. Did you say anything to them once it was done?

I have no issues with acrylics, I went into it planning on getting them because I have no nails lol however they said they didn’t do acrylics once I was there. My grandma had a gift certificate to this salon and was beyond generous and took me as a gift and had told me they could do the colors at least but even the base color was wrong. They had plexiglass up as a divider (I’m in NY) so things are still really wonky here, so it was hard to see and their lights were very yellow. I was outside before I could see the real damage lol.

I think you can fix it! I would just look around for better reviewed salons (and go to a specific artist mentioned in a good review). The picture you posted for inspiration has longer nails than you have, so it might help to get fake tips? I'd just get acrylics and call in advance to 100% explain what you want, and book with a specific person.

That scamming to me. I would be upset right there and would ask her to stop the service. That’s not right from the nail tech.

I second this - if all else fails you can try and get press ons that you purchase from a drug store, not the best but will look better. Best of luck
